Terms

Plain terms for a small publisher selling digital guides. Short on purpose: anything you have to be tricked into agreeing to is not worth agreeing to.

Who you are dealing with

This site and everything sold on it is operated by Odoo & AI Skills LLC, a limited liability company of the State of New Mexico, United States, at 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #9881, Albuquerque, NM 87113. Contact: hello@odooaiskills.com.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Odoo S.A. “Odoo” is a trademark of Odoo S.A., used here to name the software this publication is about.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are the total you pay. We do not add tax at checkout. If your own jurisdiction imposes a tax on your purchase, meeting it is yours to handle. Payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your card details.

What you get, and what you may do with it

A guide is a digital file delivered to you after payment, for your own use and the use of your organisation. You may print it, quote it with attribution, and use its code examples in your own projects, commercial ones included.

You may not resell it, republish it in whole, or post it where it can be downloaded by people who have not bought it. Each copy is watermarked with the buyer's details.

Updates

When a guide states that a future edition is included, that edition reaches you at no extra cost, at the address used to buy it — regardless of what the price has become in the meantime.

Refunds

Thirty days, no questions. Write to us and we refund you, whether or not you downloaded the file. We would rather lose a sale than keep money from someone the work did not help.

What we promise, and what we do not

Everything published here was tested as described on the How we test page. Software changes, and your database is not ours: we cannot promise a procedure will behave identically on your installation. Nothing here is professional advice for your specific situation, and we are not liable for what happens when you apply it. Test on a copy before you touch production — that is good practice with or without these terms.

Where the law allows a limit, our liability is limited to what you paid us.

Changes

We may change these terms. The version in force when you bought is the one that governs your purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without prejudice to consumer rights that your own country grants you and that cannot be waived by contract.
